York United Stars Shine Bright at North York Academy!

NYA Community Day was indeed a memorable day for everyone involved. Austin Ricci and Kevin Dos Santos from York United FC made a special appearance at the academy and had a fun evening with the players from the grassroots development program. 

York United FC is the professional team from York that competes in the Canadian Premier League. The rising stars at North York Academy got the chance to learn some invaluable lessons from some of the best in the business and even showed off their skills in some fun-filled mini-games with the two players from York United. 

“I noticed they have really good technical ability and a positive energy going on” 

York United FC strikers’ Austin Ricci and Kevin Dos Santos were full of praise for the young talent they came across at training and gave the young stars some trips to help out their soccer journey in a Q&A session. 

Ahead of their season which starts in April, York United FC is on a pre-season tour in preparation for the season opener. We at North York Academy wish them the best of luck, and thank them for participating in our Community Day!
